I. INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff Mumtaz Nizami commenced this employment discrimination suit in Oakland County Circuit Court, State of Michigan on May 26, 1999, alleging that his employer, Defendant Pfizer Inc., unlawfully failed to promote him and demoted him on account of his age and national origin.
