Tne defendant, who is an attorney and counselor at law, was indicted for grand larceny in the second degree and charged with feloniously stealing the sum of $250, from one William Gf. Rich. After a trial he was found guilty by the jury, but the judgment has been reversed by the appellate division.
The complainant in the case lived in the state of Rhode Island and had some relations with the defendant in his professional capacity.
