| ] This case stems from a lengthy and contentious dispute between appellant, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (“NAACP”), and the Crittenden County Branch of the NAACP (“the Branch”), represented by appellee, Hubert Bass. In 2010, Mr. Bass filed suit in the Crittenden County Circuit Court to resolve a controversy over the election of Branch officers. The NAACP intervened and was ultimately held in contempt for failing to obey court orders.
