John R. Rood died on December 23, 1961, leaving a will dated February 4, 1954, *408and a codicil dated April 6, 1955. The will was ordered to probate on March 19, 1962, and the codicil was ordered to probate on April 2, 1962. The will created a testamentary trust in which the residue and remainder of the estate was devised to Michigan State College, Alma College, and Olivet College. The presidents and their successors of these institutions were named as trustees.
