The plaintiffs are residents and taxpayers of the City of Dearborn who, on September 1, 1981, individually and purportedly as members of a class, filed a complaint in the Court of Appeals seeking an order of superintending control over the Tax Tribunal. The Court of Appeals dismissed the plaintiffs’ complaint in a one-sentence order, apparently concluding that superintending control is an inappropriate remedy in this case. Because we have determined that the plaintiffs are entitled to maintain an action for superintending control, we reverse.
