—-In this case appellee instituted suit to reform and foreclose a mortgage. Amongst others, the appellant, Gradolph, was a party defendant. The mortgage sought to be foreclosed as it was drawn and recorded contained a void description but, following the attempted description, this language appeared in the mortgage:

“This is a second mortgage following mortgage given by R. R. Ricou to R. L. Goodwin for $3,220.00 dated March 10th, 1924, on or before one and two years at 8% interest, payable semi-annually.”
