Defendant, Richard Canterbury, pleaded guilty to two counts of forgery (720 ILCS 5/17 — 3(a)(2) (West 1998)) and one count of unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle (unlawful possession) (625 ILCS 5/4 — 103(a)(1) (West 1998)). Pursuant to an agreement with the State, the court sentenced him to seven years’ imprisonment for unlawful possession and concurrent three-year terms for forgery. The court denied defendant’s motion to withdraw his guilty plea.
