This suit was filed September 20, 1940, by appellants, W. C. McGuire and wife, Verdie Lee McGuire — appellants Russel A.‘ Bonham and W. M. Latham, having joined therein as plaintiffs under a power of attorney, coupled with a ⅛ interest in the property involved, from the McGuires, also dated September 20, 1940 — in trespass to try title and for damages to 31/32 of the mineral-rights in 20 acres of land near Houston in Harris County, against appel-lees, Paul C.
