Plaintiff commenced suit on February 15, 1985, as decedent’s personal representative under the Michigan dramshop act, 1 claiming that the deceased, Seymour Michael Stamp, was intoxicated and that his intoxication caused or contributed to his death in an automobile accident on or about February 24, 1983, and that he was served intoxicating liquors while visibly intoxicated by the various bar defendants in the case.
