This case results from the brutal, cold-blooded murder of Debra K. Dabbs immediately after she had been savagely raped and beaten. The victim was last seen alive around 11:00 P.M. on March 5, 1975, when she was being led out of the Watergate Lounge in Birmingham by four black men. Her nude, mutilated body was found early the next morning behind Tuggle School in north Birmingham.
