after stating the case: This case, we think, has been correctly tried, and the plaintiff has no just ground of complaint. The objection to the testimony of J. A. Smith, president of the defendant company, as to his conversation with the plaintiff at the Buford Hotel in the presence and hearing of James L. Wilson, is not tenable. It will be observed that the writer of the letter of 22 March, 1902, which is stated therein to be the contract, does not profess to set forth the terms of the employment, nor does he even mention the particular position which the plaintiff had been…
