This was an action by appellee, Lundin, as trustee in bankruptcy of the Cotta Gear Company, to vacate an execution sale made by the sheriff of Winnebago county. In November, 1936, judgment in the sum of $4,201 was recovered against the Gear Company by Thomas J. Craddick. In May, 1939, Craddick assigned this judgment to John D. Powers for $300. Thomas P. Ryan acted as attorney for Powers in the purchase of the judgment.
