BROCK, j.

This is a products liability case brought to recover damages for personal injuries and property damage allegedly suffered by the plaintiff when her two-month-old 1975 Chevrolet Vega went out of control and crashed into a stone wall. Plaintiffs actions against the manufacturer, General Motors Corporation, and the seller, Byrnes Chevrolet, Inc., allege that a defect in the motor mount and/or throttle mechanism of the automobile caused the one-car accident in which she was involved.
