Before the Court is the “Debtor’s Motion for Sanctions Against the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for Violations of the Automatic Stay” (the “Sanctions Motion”), filed by the Debtor Philip Steenstra (the “Debtor”). As originally filed, the Sanctions Motion sought monetary damages against both the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (the “MDOR”) 1 and its attorney, Janet Fennell (“Ms. Fennell”).
