This case is part of a Multidistrict Litigation (MDL) involving claims of liver damage from the use of Tylenol at or just above the recommended dosage.1 The first “bellwether” case is scheduled for trial.2 *450The plaintiff plans to offer Dr. Timothy Davern, M.D. as a general and specific causation expert. Dr. Davern contends that recommended doses of acetaminophen, the main ingredient in Tylenol, can cause acute liver failure (ALF).
