In this.proceeding the board of county commissioners of Wyandotte county asks the issuance of a writ of mandamus to compel the auditor of state to register certain county bonds issued to pay for the construction of a county bridge. A former application to register the bonds of the county for that purpose was denied because of a noncompliance with a particular statutory requirement as to the making of an estimate of the cost of the bridge. (Wyandotte County v. Davis, 92 Kan. 672, 141 Pac. 555.)
