Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Rensselaer County (McGrath, J.), rendered July 8, 1998, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of robbery in the first degree.
Defendant was allegedly a planner and the driver in a scheme with several other individuals to rob an employee of the Vanilla Bean Baking Company as she transported receipts, checks and approximately $5,000 in cash from the company’s store in the City of Albany to its store in the City of Troy, Rensselaer County.
