Williams v. Redford Township

Michigan Court of Appeals

Decided July 1, 1994No. Docket No. 154658PublishedCited by 1 opinion

1Opinion of the CourtWhite, P.J.

On the January case call, two cases involving a township’s liability with respect to sidewalks were submitted to separate panels. Opinions reaching contrary results were circulated. The opinion in Listanski v Canton Charter Twp, 206 Mich App 356; 523 NW2d 229 (1994), was released first and, under Administrative Order No. *8021994-4,1 is now binding on this panel. Therefore, in accordance with that opinion, we affirm the circuit court’s grant of summary disposition. Were it not for Listanski and Administrative Order No. 1994-4, we would reverse for the reasons stated in this opinion.
