OPINION

WATT, Justice:

The sole issue to be decided in this proceeding is whether a elaim for workers’ compensation benefits filed on the second anniversary of the claimant’s accidental injury is barred by the statute of limitations set forth at 85 O.S.1991 § 43(A). We answer this question in the negative and hold that petitioner’s claim, filed exactly two years after the date of his accident, was timely.
