This suit was begun by the filing of a suit in the nature of quo zmrranto in the circuit court of Cook county challenging the right of appellant to hold and exercise a license to keep a dram-shop in what is known as the “local option district” of what was formerly the village of Hyde Park. The license was issued by the mayor of Chicago March 4, 1903, for the period from January 12, 1903, to May 1, 1903. To the information two pleas of justification were filed.
