I agree that there is substantial evidence to support Morris’s conviction for criminal contempt. However,' I dissent from the majority’s decision to modify Morris’s contempt fine to $2,000. Instead, I would modify the fine to $500 based on the following analysis.

IsArk. Code Ann. § 16-10-108 (b)(1) provides that punishment for contempt is a Class C misdemeanor. Ark. Code Ann. § 5-4-201 (b)(3) states that a defendant convicted of a Class C misdemeanor may be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500). Accordingly, I would fine Morris to an amount within the Class C…
