This action arises from plaintiff, Newly Weds Foods, Inc.’s (“NWF”) discovery and remediation of environmental contamination at its facility located at 70-80 Grove Street, Watertown, Massachusetts (“the Site”). The Site, complete with underground storage tanks, was owned and operated by defendant, Westvaco Corporation (“Westvaco”) from 1945 to 1981. NWF contends that Westvaco is solely responsible for the Site’s contamination.
