LATCHUM, Chief Judge.

The plaintiffs, young girls and their parents, filed suit on March 13, 1974 against the defendants, Little League Baseball, Inc. (“League”) and selected local charter members of the League, seeking to have the defendants’ policy of excluding girls from Little League baseball teams declared unconstitutional. The plaintiffs further sought to enjoin the League from revoking the charters of the local members for including female participants in their individual programs and in addition sought a mandatory injunction commanding the defendants to permit girls to play on the…
