Plaintiff Jennifer Copeland brings this federal question action alleging that her former employer, Defendant Home and Community Health Services, Inc. (“the defendant” or “HCHS”), violated the Family and Medical Leave Act, 29 U.S.C. § 2601 et seq. (“FMLA”), as well as state tort law in the course of events leading up to her employment.
