The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association, a corporation of this state, and twenty-nine other persons, firms and corporations, filed a bill October 2,1901, in their own behalf and of all other lessees of and subscribers for telephone instruments, equipments and telephone service of the Chicago Telephone Company, similarly situated, for the purpose of enjoining the latter company from exacting of complainants and others similarly situated a greater rate than $125 per year for telephone service, as fixed by the terms of a certain city ordinance and schedule of telephone rates set up in the bill,…
