liThe plaintiff alleged that the defendant internal medicine physician had undertaken management of her breast health care and that the defendant deviated from the applicable standard of care by an alleged failure to follow a radiologist’s recommendation for a surgical biopsy following a mammogram. The plaintiff alleged that this breach, along with other alleged deviations, resulted in a delayed diagnosis of breast cancer and a lost chance of survival.
