ENSLEN, District Judge.

This case is before the Court for sentencing of defendant Carl Edward Cole. Defendant Cole is a 27-year-old white male who on October 14, 1992 was found guilty by a jury of a two-count indictment charging him with a firearms offense. Specifically, Count I of the indictment charged that Cole knowingly received and possessed a firearm, to wit: a bomb, which was not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer record, in violation of Title 26, sections 5861(d), 5845 and 5871.
