Jacob Sholem died testate in Paris, Illinois, March i, 1907, leaving certain property. August 19, 1907, on petition of the Attorney General, the county judge of Edgar county appointed an appraiser to appraise the estate of said deceased under the Inheritance Tax law. After a brief hearing the appraiser declared the case closed and refused to take any further evidence. The appraiser thereupon made his report and filed it with the clerk of the county court on April 10, 1908.
