CARL E. STEWART, Circuit Judge:

Defendant-Appellant Garland Miller appeals a conviction and sentence, following a jury trial, on a two-count indictment alleging tax evasion in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7201. We AFFIRM.

I. BACKGROUND

Dr. Garland Miller (“Miller”) was a general practitioner with an office in Zwolle, Louisiana. He employed six staff members, including his then-wife, Rhonda Mil ler (“Mrs. Miller”), 1 a registered nurse who worked with him to manage the practice.
