On and before December 1, 1915, the trustees of the Frederick M. Hubbell Estate owned certain real estate in Des Moines described as Lot 4, Block 1, Allen’s Addition. James A. McCoy, Sr., and James A. McCoy, Jr., on December 1, obtained from the Hubbell trustees a lease covering the real estate for the period of seventy years and one month. The lessees, McCoys, assigned the lease to another, and that assignee again assigned the same.
