This is an appeal from a conviction for obtaining money under false pretenses. The indictment charged in substance that the accused Otis Wilson Bruce obtained the sum of $63.47 from Walter A. Johnson, agent and employee of W. D. Bethea, doing business as Help Yourself Stores, and that the same was obtained by means of “a certain genuine negotiable instrument in writing to-wit; a bank check for the sum of $63.47 having been issued to D.
