I. BACKGROUND
On May 2, 2000, Ian Hawker, Nelson Miles, and Jermaine Lawrence (“Named Plaintiffs”), three inmates incarcerated at Riverfront State Prison in Camden, New Jersey, filed a class action complaint pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against Andrew Consovoy, William T. McCargo, Loraine Kulick, Peter W. Loos, Dominic Porrovecchio, Rolando Gomez Rivera, Rachel Torres-Chowaniec, and Ruby J.
