(for reversal). This suit was instituted by the township of Kalamazoo and certain other individuals living in said township to test the annexation proceedings whereby a portion of Kalamazoo township was voted to be annexed to the city of Kalamazoo. It appears that in February, 1955, the board of supervisors of Kalamazoo county considered a petition, presented to it under the provisions of the home-rule act, requesting the annexation of the entire township of Kalamazoo to the city of Kalamazoo.
