Last summer, in Illinois Bell Tel. Co. v. FCC, 740 F.2d 465 (7th Cir.1984), we upheld an order by the Federal Communications Commission establishing conditions under which the Bell operating companies, having been divested from American Telephone and Telegraph Company as part of the settlement of the government’s antitrust suit against AT & T, could resume the marketing of telephone handsets and other “customer premises equipment” (as well as “enhanced services,” but they are not important in the present case) to their subscribers.
