On April 13, 1918, Hector J. Bell, appellant, filed his bill in the superior court of Cook county for the specific performance of a contract for the exchange of farm property for city property, against appellees, Anders E. Anderson, William J. Reinhold and Charles M. Haft. Appellees filed their joint and several answer to the bill, denying substantially all the allegations therein and setting up the Statute of Frauds.
