COX, Judge:

Appellant was tried by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial in Garlstedt, Federal Republic of Germany. He was charged with drunken or reckless driving, and with involuntary manslaughter, violations of Articles 111 and 119, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 911 and 919, respectively. The military judge convicted appellant of the single offense of drunken driving and sentenced him to be dishonorably discharged.
