GLASSMAN, Justice.

By this appeal William Shackelford challenges both the judgment entered in the Superior Court (Kennebec County, Alexander, J.) on a jury verdict finding him guilty of robbery 1 in violation of 17-A M.R.S.A. § 651(1)(C) (1983) 2 and the sentence imposed on that charge. We affirm the judgment and vacate the sentence.
