SUMMERS, Chief Justice.
Jerry Wayne Peacock was convicted of aggravated assault, and mandatory punishment of life imprisonment was assessed by the court based on the jury’s finding of two prior felony convictions. We affirm.
Peacock argues in his first ground of error and its subparts that the trial court’s charge to the jury was defective in that it constituted a comment on the weight of the evidence, that the charge failed to require the jury to find that the knife used by Peacock to commit the assault was a deadly weapon, and that the court erred in refusing to submit the lesser included…
