People v. Mahdi

Defendant appeals as of right his jury trial convictions of two counts of possession with intent to deliver less than 50 grams of a controlled substance, MCL 333.7401(2)(a)(iu), and one count of possession with intent to deliver less than 5 kilograms of marijuana, MCL 333.7401(2)(d)(iii). Defendant was sentenced as a fourth habitual offender, MCL 769.12, to concurrent sentences of 76 months to 40 years’ imprisonment for the intent-to-deliver-a-controlled-substance convictions and 76 months to 15 years’ imprisonment for the intent-to-deliver-marijuana conviction.
