Thomas Witman has filed a petition for review in the nature of mandamus seeking an order requiring the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole (Board) to recompute the term remaining to be served by him on a sentence of imprisonment. Both parties *650have filed cross motions for summary judgment and the matter is before us on briefs.
