Bichardson, Judge:

The protest herein involves merchandise described on the invoice as a “4-Way Flasher Switch for Automobile,” which was assessed with duty at the rate of TT% per centum ad valorem under the provision in item 685.90 of the Tariff Schedules of the United States (TSUS) for electrical switches, or other electrical apparatus for *324making or breaking electrical circuits, or for making connections to or in electrical circuits.
