People ex rel. Baker v. Chicago & Alton Railroad

This is an application by the county collector of Livingston 'County at the May Term, 1891, of the county court of that •county for judgment against the-property of the Chicago & Alton Eailroad Company for the delinquent road taxes for the years 1889 and 1890.

The railroad company filed the following objection, among 'others, to the rendition of judgment against its property for the delinquent district road taxes levied for the year 1889 :
