The appellee is the granddaughter and the sole and only heir of one Frank C. Young, who died intestate on December 18, 1932, at the age of 70 years. The appellant, a lady of 65 years, was the wife of Frank C. Young at the time of his death.

Frank C. Young had formerly been sheriff of Davis county, Iowa; he was, up until shortly before his death, vice president, director and stockholder of the Davis County Savings Bank, the largest financial institution in the county.
