The primary questions presented on appeal in this diversity action 1 governed by Wisconsin law are whether (1) the defendants misappropriated the plaintiff’s trade secrets, (2) the award of compensatory damages was excessive, and (3) the award of punitive damages was warranted by the evidence. The district court granted the defendants judgment notwithstanding the verdict, and in the alternative, a new trial on compensatory damages, and denied the award of punitive damages in its entirety.
