Action was brought by appellee in the Circuit Court of St. Clair county upon a benefit certificate issued by appellant. To the declaration filed in said cause, counting on said certificate, appellant filed a plea of the general issue and three special pleas, setting up certain sections of appellant’s constitution and bylaws relied on by it as a defense in said cause. A demurrer to said special pleas was sustained, and the cause went to trial on the declaration and plea of general issue.
