Bond filed suit against Dixon upon five promisspry notes, and prayed a general judgment for the principal debt *46and interest, “and that said judgment be decreed to be a first lien upon the property” described in the petition, which had been conveyed to the plaintiff by a deed of the defendant as security for the payment of the notes, and that “the said property . . be sold and the proceeds thereof applied to the payment of . . petitioner’s judgment.” Dixon appeared and duly filed a demurreT and an answer to the suit.
