I do not agree that “it is elementary that if the bank by its dealings with Wiersum released him, such release terminated the liability of prior assignees who had agreed to perforin the terms of this contract. Barnard v. Huff, 252 Mich. 258 (77 A. L. R. 259); Gorman v. Butzel, 272 Mich. 525.” Nor do I think the cases cited so hold.
