The plaintiff, Benjamin G. Famum, appeals from an order of the single justice of this court, affirming an award pursuant to G. L. c. 231, § 6F, by a Land Court judge of $218,537.29 in attorney’s fees and costs to defendant Mesiti Development (Mesiti) based on a finding in the Land Court that *420Farnum’s claim was wholly insubstantial, frivolous, and not advanced in good faith.
