HOFFMAN, Judge:

Appellants contend that their prosecutions were not timely commenced. We disagree and, accordingly, affirm the judgments of sentence.

Following a lengthy joint state-federal investigation, the Commonwealth obtained, on March 18,1980, arrest warrants charging appellants with certain drug offenses 1 and criminal conspiracy 2 arising from their activities between March 28, 1978 and April 13, 1978.
