Plaintiffs, Richard and Barbara Leazzo (hereinafter referred to as the buyers), brought this action against defendants William and Mary Dun-ham (hereinafter referred to as the sellers), and Sprafka Realty World, Inc., and Jack Carpenter Organization (hereinafter referred to as the real estate brokers), seeking the return of an earnest money deposit paid pursuant to a written contract to purchase real estate.
